Reading Response #12: 232-240

The thoughts about these reading is very intuitive based on the information when discussing the innovation, the internet has done at the artistic level. The new technological wave is given the artistic world a new canvas, a new practice and in a sense, it has made it more and more based around the traditions of old artistic ways, and the new wave of technology-based pieces of work. Something as commercially based like a movie, can really make a difference and an impact at an artistic level. Something that caught my eye, was the based on making a virtual reality, a work of art rather than just another machine or innovation. By making it more artistically based, it can break traditions and customs already implemented by the society, and make it mean so much more. Reading Response #11: Pg: 212-232

Overall, these pages were about how much the internet’s presence has evolved the way our world revolves and moves, in a way that signifies the passing of time, from one artistic generation to another. The internet has made it more virtual for the world to communicate, in a way that makes it fast, and broader than ever before. And when we look at it from an artistic standpoint, things could not be more different. Graphic designers have become a thing, and their gallery, has become a social network account. Millions of creators are coming up in ranks and many are able to discuss from all over the planet. Something of this nature has never been seen before from previous generations, and yet, we are still in its early stages of practice.
