Something that was brought up in the readings, was around the time that technology was becoming more available for the public, Televisions were becoming the next big wave of technology. To have a machine that was going to give you access to more variety of visual entertainment was to be a massive business. By the 1960s, 90% of the US households were owners of TV’s. Something that also brought the with TV, was the viewpoints. Viewpoints from other people from different parts of the country, and even in the world. Worldly viewpoints were being more and more introduced. Different viewpoints, different languages, customs. Televised corporations became something of the normality and became more of an influence in technology to come.
